2008

2008 saw a major increase in operations for Fauldsport and the impact on both the drivers and team championship was immense. Investment over the winter months had improved the team set up and paddock presence. ARDS instructor and Caterham racing tutor Simon Mason was recruited as Team Manager to support drivers and offer vital racing tips and data analysis.

Fauldsport ran four drivers full-time in the Motorsport News Caterham Roadsport A Championship - James Sharrock, Lewis Hopkins, JJ O’Malley and Paul Storton, while also supporting newcomer Adam Ferenczi. Rachel Green continued with Fauldsport, competing in the Avon Tyres Caterham Superlight Challenge.

Over the course of the Roadsport A season there were race victories for James Sharrock at Silverstone and Donington and Lewis Hopkins and JJ O’Malley at Brands Hatch. Added to this there were a further twelve podium finishes from Fauldsport drivers. All of this meant that Fauldsport completely dominated the team championship having secured victory as early as August.

Rachel Green continued to make name for herself in the Caterham Motorsport paddock finishing a respectable seventh in the Superlight Championship, with podium finishes at Brands Hatch and Silverstone.
